Father Allancastro Silva Vieira SVD was born in Brazil in 1986. After attending seminaries in Brazil and Spain, he was ordained to the priesthood in 2016 in Brazil. He now serves in Spain as secretary of the Verbo Divino Editorial Group. Fr. Vieira has a master’s degree in biblical studies. He is part of the steering committee of the Catholic Biblical Federation, supporting biblical education in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Originally from the Philippines, Father Marlon Bobier Vargas SVD completed his seminary formation in the United States and was ordained to the priesthood in 2020. His first missionary assignment was to Spain Province, where he served for four years in pastoral ministry, youth ministry, vocation promotion and as mission secretary. In 2025, he began his service at the Generalate in Rome as editor of the international newsletter for Divine Word Missionaries, Arnoldus Nota, and as a member of the Generalate’s media department. He currently serves as chaplain of the Santa Maria Goretti Filipino Catholic Community in Rome.

Father Edward Xavier Machado was born in India in 1963. After finishing high school, he entered the Divine Word Seminary in Kirem, Mangalore. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1992. He was assigned to Mexico after his ordination. For more than 21 years, he has dedicated himself to formation work. From 2016 to 2019, he served as the PANAM Zone formation coordinator. He is currently the formator of philosophy students in the Mexico Province.

Father Moïse Kpaghere Tiyadjawin SVD was born in Togo in 1988. He joined Divine Word Missionaries in 2012, and his studies as a seminarian took him from Togo to Ghana to Kenya to Brazil. He was ordained to the priesthood in 2022 in Togo. After his ordination, he returned to Kenya and currently works at St. Mary Immaculate Parish in Nairobi as assistant parish priest and school director. He is also provincial secretary for Kenya-Tanzania.

Originally from Vietnam, Father Trieu Thien Cao SVD joined Divine Word Missionaries in 2006 after finishing high school. He was ordained to the priesthood in 2020 and assigned to Bolivia. He is currently assistant priest at San Antonio de Padua Arque parish in Cochabamba. He also serves as a member of the regional council, as coordinator of the dimension of communications, and as director of a boarding house named Virgen del Rosario – Arque that hosts more than 100 students coming from low-income families.

Father John Kudjo Dorborkoe SVD was born in Battor, Ghana, in 1978. He pursued his seminary formation in Ghana and Kenya and participated in the Cross-Cultural Training Program in Brazil. He was ordained to the priesthood in Ghana in 2009 and has been assigned to that country. He currently serves as superior and formator at St. Joseph Freinademetz House of Philosophy, Tamale, and as a lecturer at St. Augustine Millennium Major Seminary, Tamale. Fr. Dorborkoe holds a doctorate in philosophy.

Father Zachary Smith SVD is originally from the Detroit, Michigan, area. Before becoming a missionary, he worked as an emergency medical technician. Accompanying people in moments of physical and emotional crisis inspired him to pursue religious life. He entered Divine Word College in Epworth, Iowa, in 2012, professed first vows in 2016, and completed cross-cultural training in Japan from 2018 to 2021. Ordained in 2024, he now serves in Tokyo as assistant pastor of Kichijoji Catholic Church.

Bishop Józef Roszyński SVD was born in Poland in 1962. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1989 and has been a Divine Word Missionary in Papua New Guinea since 1992. During his time in Papua New Guinea, he served as a parish priest for six years and held a series of leadership roles in the Society of the Divine Word, including Wewak District superior, member of the provincial council, mission secretary, formation coordinator and vocation director. In April 2015, he was consecrated bishop of the Diocese of Wewak. In his current mission, Bishop Roszyński leads the Catholic community throughout his diocese, guiding pastoral care, evangelization and missionary outreach across a culturally diverse region of East Sepik Province.
